Delaney Allen

Delaney Allen is a Dallas-based photographer known for his surreal landscape and still-life work with influences from painting and form. He received his MFA in visual studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art. Delaney has shown nationally and internationally, most notably Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Aperture (NYC) and FOAM (Amsterdam).  His first publication, Between Here and There, sits in collections at MoMA, Yale University, as well as many other international institutes.

Jill Johnson

Jill Johnson is a Fort Worth-based photographer whose photographic work spans fine art, editorial, commercial, and documentary fields. Her career, rooted in photojournalism, often captures the fading beauty of small-town life, abandoned buildings, and iconic West Texas scenes. Throughout her childhood she spent summers working on the family farms in Bushland and Muleshoe, two little specks on the map that loomed large in her life. She uses a Hasselblad camera to create richly detailed chromogenic prints that reflect her personal history. A small-town corner of the way it was, held hostage as time keeps marching on. In every image she manages to create a sense of big skies, bold colors, balance and play. Wit and whimsy with a wink that acknowledges the only thing that stays the same, the backdrop. The land, the buildings, the things that all anchor us to this wild and crazy place called Earth, and even more specifically, Texas.

Like so many artists, this origin story starts in the chaos of my late 20s. My friend and I found ourselves toying with the idea of starting a t-shirt business. Although we had countless ideas, life got busy, and we never saw it through. However, I couldn't shake the dream. I finally took the plunge in February 2016, researching screen printing, buying the equipment, taking classes, and watching countless YouTube videos. And *boom*, AR-T's was born!

Through years of trial and error, I mastered the craft of manually screen-printed textiles. Finally, I was able to pour my entrepreneurial spirit and my passion for fashion and art into AR-T's. The name AR-T's plays on both "art" and "Arkansas Tees," my two loves. Whether it's about the South, Arkansas, or our neighborhood of SOMA in Little Rock, you'll see that many of our favorite designs are silly, stylish, or impactful tributes to the places we love. In 2021, AR-T's merged with Electric Ghost Screen Printing, expanding our printing capabilities and opening our first brick-and-mortar shop. It was a long journey, but our amazing customers and supporters have made everything worth it. Whether we are bringing dreams to life with custom apparel from Electric Ghost or selling AR-T's merchandise in our retail space, we are passionate about creating livable art! As a queer-owned business in the South, we pride ourselves on creating designs that give a voice to minorities and promote diversity in a state that often does the opposite.

When she isn't painting, she is a professional interior architect of immersive spaces, shaping the atmosphere of restaurants across the country. For Luiza, art is a grounding ritual and a quiet meditation that transforms the "ordinary" into something soulful. Her work is an open invitation to slow down, find the extraordinary in the everyday, and carry a spark of optimism back out into the world.

Hi! I'm Mindy Byrd, a commercial photographer, artist and mom currently living in Dallas Texas with my partner, two kids, two cats and dog.

I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington with a BFA in Art, and have been represented by The Photo Division for over a decade as a fashion, beauty and product photographer.

l've been incorporating collage into my personal and commercial photo work since college, something that started out as purely aesthetic.

Slowly the process began to feel more and more therapeutic for me, realizing the act of using my hands to create was calming for my anxious mind.

I started Byrdhouse Collage in 2023, a collage side project with the goal of connecting people to their own creativity using their hands and minds.

Mental health is very important to me, I hope to empower others in their own creative journey with collage.

Having hands in Earth is a sacramental piece of my stay here. We start as Earth and dirt and stars and we end our time here by returning to it.  How reaffirming and natural to stay connected to that home by creating from the materials of our own inception and departure.  A collaboration between the Mother and me that feels like a continuation of the natural cycle. I grew up near the Palo Pinto Mountains and most of my pieces are made in part or wholly from clay I gathered there.  All connected:  the beginning, the end and the in-between. The ground I ran around on and explored as a kid, now  the cup in my hands as an adult; just by adding emotion, energy and fire. How wonderful is that!

Piper Crawley is a former red head who according to her best friend is a serious weirdo.  She likes to spend her free time trying to figure out how Scrooge McDuck swims thru his coin collection and assigning personas to inanimate objects.  Sometimes she makes paintings of those things and sometimes she doesn’t.  Side effects of hanging out with Piper can include but are not limited to: a sudden urge to boogie woogie, imagining what walruses would sing about, and speaking in a 1920’s radio voice.  Please consult with your doctor if any of these side effects concern you.

Often toeing the line between light and dark my work aims to make the viewer wonder what’s below the surface.
